Corben Kushneryk – Artistic Director
Since graduating from MacEwan University’s Theatre Arts Program in 2012, Corben has acted as producer, director, designer, puppeteer and performer. In 2013, he helmed the inaugural production of 35MM: A Musical Exhibition for IMP, as well as the award-winning Coraline. Select acting credits include: 9 to 5: The Musical (Mayfield Dinner Theatre), Babes in Toyland (Promise Productions), Avenue Q (TOWTTBP), Passages (RIBBITrePUBLIC), Xanadu, Vernon God Little, Merrily We Roll Along and Liz Lochead’s Thebans (MacEwan). He is currently completing his BFA (Acting) at the University of Alberta.
Rebecca studied Theatre Arts at MacEwan University where she played Calliope in Xanadu, Kreon in Thebans and the guitar-playing Prosecutor in Vernon God Little – all Canadian Premières. Other favourite credits include: Roderigo in Babes in Toyland (Promise Productions), Snoopy in You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown! and Puck in A Midsummer Night’s Dream (GPLT). She has been with IMP since its inception and has performed in both 35MM: A Musical Exhibition and as Spink/Other Miss Spink/Mom in Coraline. She has toured extensively in Power Game with the Blue Flame (ATCO Energy Theatre) and has collaborated with Kaybridge Productions as the puppeteer for The Frog Prince. She is the proud owner of a miniature schnauzer named Sir Guffman Smalz who comes to all her shows…in spirit.
